Great Grammodes! I've thought about keeping them myself, just haven't ventured into it yet.

If you like dovii, you'll like grammodes. He hasn't been in the tank 24 hours yet and already murdered a 1 1/2" Salvini. It seems to be just for spite. he bit the little guy's tail clean off. We'll see how bad he is when he goes in with the big boys in my sig in a week or so.:D

I hear ya man.. I've really thought about them. After I put some size on my Dovii I'll probably get a pair to keep in my show tank upstairs in the living room. I'm assuming a 100g 60x18x20 would be sufficient for those guys for life.

Handsome grammodes there. I thought my little one (might be a female) I got in my new 150g was dead, didn't see it for two days. Couldn't find a dead body anywhere. Then I saw her alive, briefly coming out of her hiding spot to snag a piece of food. I didn't get a good look at her, so I don't know about her health. She used to be more active, constantly exploring the rockwork, and pretty much ruled the tank. I'm guessing she may have lost a fight and is afraid to come out. Some of the other fish (like the frempongis) have caught up or surpassed her size wise due to their more aggressive feeding habits.

$60 for 4 1/2". My LFS got him and several others from Jeff Rapps.

A 100g would be awesome for a pair of grammodes. I love that dovii of yours too. The same LFS where I got the grammodes is supposed to be getting some 5" to 6" male doviis tomorrow. I'm seriously considering picking one of these up for my community (I know, dovii and community don't exactly go together, but we'll see, lol). If I can somehow have all five Parachromis together, how awesome would that be?:D I'd even give up the RT's and TSN's to make some room.

I hope she's going to be ok. Good luck.

Thanks a lot. He's kind of shy though. It took me almost an hour to get those two shots, lol.
