I FINALLY got my Niger Catfish!

One of my favorite cats but I can't beleive it's taken you this long to find one.
 
There is only one LFS that will order fish, and they were not able to get one until now for me. It was always an excuse of it being too cold or too hot, one thing after another but now I have it and have completed my catfish collection.
 
Enjoy him. They grow huge fast. I have two, one is 33" and the other 27". Very active and peaceful cats.
 
SWEET HOPE YOURE PLANING A TANK UPGRADE THOUGH THEY GET HUGH MINE WAS 5YRS. OLD AND 40" WHEN I SOLD HIM (THATS RIGHT 40 INCHES). THEY ARE VERY TAME EVENTUALY YOU CAN PET IT N FEED IT BY HAND. IT STILL MY FAVORITE FISH IVE HAD
 
What do you got to feed em? Catfish feeding is my fav. part of keepin Monster fish. How much do those Ripsaw cats normally co$t when available?

They aren't very picky eaters. They will consume pellets of all types and they love earthworms. Small ones around 4" are normally ~$40 or so.
 
@ EVAN YUNCK Oh yeah I am planning a huge tank build soon. I have him in a 125g now and have a 300g as a step up from that, but I plan on building a 5000 gallon into the new room that I am building onto my house right now.

@ 2rivers I feed mine an assortment of food including Pellets, shrimp, crill, Live worms, Live crawfish, fresh beef heart that I mix veggies and fruits into and grind up, crickets and of course feeder goldfish. I paid $70.00 for This Ripsaw but to be honest I've waited so long I would have paid more lol
