I finaly did it!

Yeah, I'd start switching up the diet a little or I think it will get progressively harder to get him off of live. At least throw some tilapia or silverside chunks in there if you don't want to be "mean" yet with holding on "real" food while working on the pellet transition.

Here are a few updated pictures. These are pictures after the first real feeding in over a week due to me having to treat the tank for ich.



Again, please excuse the dirty tank. I swear, it doesn’t always look like that, but for some reason, every time I get pictures is shortly before cleaning and water change day. Lol

The endli has started eating a few pellets, but still puts down red wigglers much better.

Last thing, can any of you tell from the picture whether this is a male or female? Based on pictures I’ve seen before, I’m leaning towards female.

Looks great man. I really like this guy. Nice headshape and patterns.

As for the sex we need to see the anal fin. At the current size i wouldnt bother though. Let it put on some more size. I have a congicus that we all thought was female as it grew it was clear that we were wrong.

At the rate it’s growing, I’m hoping it will be ready to put into my 220 within the next 2-3 months. I would like to see it around 8-10” before I move it into there.

looks good as far as sex I swore my wc del was female until he was 10" and then he was obviously male. I've found that as a rule of thumb wait till their growth slows then you can reliably tell
