The 2 spots are around 3.5-4" (I have 2 blue and 4 orange) the Moonlight is like 4.5" ans I have a 5" giant gourami... for what ever reason as soon as the giant gourami could eat up the jars crickets s/he has hated the gg. It's the only fish I EVER see the jar chase. I took the gg out and healed him/her but put it back in... Now unfortunately it hides in one of the caves and guards it against everyone as much as possible (except the jar and oscar.) As soon as the gourami comes out of the cave the jar goes straight for it(so I've been dropping sinking pellets just out side the cave for the GG to eat, I may need to get rid off the giant :-/.) Other then that though I have not seen The jar chase anyone else but for what ever reason it STRAIGHT HATES that giant gourami.... hmmmm
 
Nice Jar!!

I really like those pics without the flash...it really shows the rich color in that fish. The tank I have my jar in now came with a blue painted background...and I hate it. I think you convinced me to go with a black background next time.

For redness, you try feeding this fella with colour enhancer pellets. Natural one of course.:)
