Ohhhh on a side note I forgot to mention I'm also doing 50-75% water changes ever two days to keep up water

50%+ water changes every 2 days? Are you doing these by hand? Thats allot of water changing your doing. Might want to look into a drip or something else to help with the work. Your going to get burned out fast at that rate.

No I use my gravel vac ran out to my tree out front and a hose from my tap on my sink then top it off with prime and add salt every 3-4th water change so I can't over do it on salt. yes when I do my final tank that's going into my wall I will be doing auto water changes and not having to deal with it any more but for now I'll keep doing it this way till then
