I almost pissed myself when I read the title and the first paragraph, I thought it said "I found a baby moose"...
I just reread it but put moose where mouse was. I seriously started to laugh out loud at 3:25am, lol.

One thing that is IMPORTANT: The mother licks the baby's, erm, "magaga", to make it urinate and defecate. Otherwise, it will not.

Lucky you! You get to replicate this! You can either get down and dirty with the mouse, or use a warm (NOT HOT) moist paper towel, and have at it.
Yep I know, been fun so far.:grinno:

Thanks everyone, we shall see at least it's getting the best chance if it does die.

wow thats great ... your doing awesome

Mice make good pets (much smarter than hamsters, gerbils). I have one (Finnegan), had him since he was a hopper. Comes when I call him, and is very social.

Good luck you should post a pic.

Well the little guy died. I seriously could not keep up with feedings. Everything else was good, nice and warm place not bothered but feedings were not every 2 hours. I do think I at least gave him an extra day of living. I think if his eyes were open, he would have been able to understand I was feeding him and drinked more. At least I tried. Here's a pic though, he was dead.:(

Very sad, but at least you gave it a chance.

Aw :-( His digestive system probably couldn't handle the man made forumla after only having his mother's milk at such a young age. It's the effort that counts.
