I FOUND A SNAPPING TURTLE IN MY POND!!!(pics!)

from what i can see he is a common. i want to keep himi tried giving him an earthworm but he didnt eat it. should i try in the mourning? any tips and advise? i know that he is a coldwater animal and needs shallow water as its a baby right now. going to try to give him a silver side in the mourning.

thats cool. i have found 3 just like that. i kept them all, they are doing fine. it will take him awhile to get him to eat but try daily. they gt big but it will be a while before you need to worry about that. in good care, they are really cool turtles. what are you planning on keeping him in?

my 1,000gallon. i think thats plenty of room? lol footprint 12x12x30 but ill lower the water level alot so he can strech his neck to breathe
