They are beautiful. If you dont mind me asking, what is an ideal tank size for a pair?
Do they tend to be agressive toward bottom dwellers such as plecos once they pair off? Sorry for the ???'s. Still a newbie when it comes to cichlids and these guys really intrigue me.

for full grown adult pair, i would say at least a 60g. i have these two in my 90g long. they pretty much don't even notice my bottom feeders. plecos will do just fine w/'em, also bichirs/catfish.
