I do hand feed him, I isolated my female flower for the same reason. My big brown rays are just hogs

that is funny you mention this. i have the same problem, mostly with my little male hystrix. I dont think he is as smart as the others, or just dont like to eat as much!

They are "close" to black rays, but actually brown rays.
They are poor man p-14's. But dont let fishdog fool ya, he is far from a poor man....hah hahaha

Ha, I have the same issue with my female flower. I always feed at one end then try to feed her at the other. Sometimes a pain in the butt. The Marbles seem to inhale the food and not chew at all, while she seems to chew forever. Sometimes I feel like I am playing ping pong bouncing back and forth getting her food.

Agree on the ping pong thing Don, I have tried to feed at both ends and he will still be on the wrong side or stay in the middle.
