I gonna need help with this one guys!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks Dr. Joe. I'm on my way to Home Depot!!!!! More pix after work tonight!

Next question is. Do I use the overflow as a filter? If so, How do i stack the media? I am assuming that the water will come in throught the slots at the top then be retuned to the tank via the pumps. Is this correct?
One more question.... What other filtration options do I have? The previous owner had an AC 500 (older one) Hanging in the sump.

Wow what were you watching on TV in that first pic....
:ha:ha:

believe it or not Monk was on. he was at a nude beach (cable). I was wondering when someone would mention that.

You can put a course sponge in the over-flow as a pre-filter.

Normally, it goes course then fine filter media then bio-material.

Pix are really hard to see.

Yes.

If you got the AC110 with it, clean it up too, no harm in redundant filtration :D

What are you planning on putting in the tank?

Is this an in tank W/D system? Or is it drilled to go to a tank below the main tank?

It's an in tank W/D system. As far as I can tell the water flows into the sump via slots cut across the top. Then it would pour through whatever filter material and be pumped back up via the 2 pumps plumbed to the spouts and back into the main tank.

I have decided to put my Silver in the tank along with my CKF and possibly my Jar. This will give me time to save up for the 300gal tank instead of the 240 I was going to buy.

One more question I cant find an acrylic scratch kit anywhere in my area went to 3 LFS's before work today. Could I use a rubbing compound for my car?
