In front of my tanks
this i been going on for about aweek and a half i.ve tried every thing my fish are all stressed out and breathing heavy and some stopped eatingeven my cichla stopped eating now i now somethings wrong and my arows sits on the bottom of the tank i checked my water no nitrates or nitrites ph is at 6.7 i have a little ammonia but not enough to worry about they had a slight case of ick a few days ago i treated it and it cleared up then my severum got a fungle infection so i treated the tank with melifix i've done a small water change today just get the meds out but don't no what else i can do any ideas

might be that they are stessed from the meds. i would keep doing water changes until no ammonia is detected. things should get better with in a few days. if they dont eat for a couple of days, they will be fine also. i would just keep up with the water changes and see what happens over the next few days. good luck...i hope you dont lose any fish..

What size tank?

Kind, number, and size of fish?

Water change schedule?

How long has the tank been set up?

Sounds to me that this is a brand new set up since you report no nitrate, no nitrite, and a "little ammonia". How much ammonia?
All the meds you put in are not helping either. A lot of things can be cured by using other methods as opposed to medications. Heat + salt for ich...

I would begin some larger water changes (50%) as new water can never hurt...

have you got good airation in there like acouple of air pumps? to get rid of the meds add carbon to your filter and remove after a couple of days

lots of air.... like little rio's with air tubes

sounds "new tank syndrome" coupled with medication and uneaten food..

all the above said is fine and good advice.

yeah. i like to increase surface movement like a powerhead to disturb just below the waterline or move an external power filter outlet to disturb the water surface.

How long has you tank beeen running? To me it sounds as if your tank is not cycled because you stated that you have ammonia and no nitrates.
