somewhere
but he jumped out of the bag i was acclimating him in and now hes hiding...

how active are these guys anyways? should i expect to see him much or will he be hiding most of the time?

what kinda diet is best for them too? right now i have some marine pellets, thinking about getting the NLS marine stuff too. im guessing they take pellets alright?

i don't know anything about them except that i like what i see when i see their picture.. so awesome..good luck

Will be shy at first. Atleast until 6-12 inches, thats when he will really come out. He should always have his head poking out somewhere. Try hand feeding, and i doubt he will ever take pellets. Try frozen krill or smelt. Octopus works good too.

After you hand feed him for a bit and and he grows comfortable, when your other fish feed he should come to the top for his hand feedings.

there not that active
ive only seen mine at night time
they will dig a hole and stay there proble till night or feeding

You should try hand feeding. I hand feed all my eels, including the green. Now everytime i walk by the tank they come up to the top of the tank and beg.

there not really active, there shy, grow fairly decent size, and idk about the food but id also try to do some octopus smelt maybe even feeders? idk about the food to much it might try pellets as a diet food

ah cool, thanks for the info. i will definitely work on hand feeding. this guy looks to be around 9-10'' or so. heres a more random question, how do these guys do as far as mixing multiple eels in one tank?

very laid back. A group of 4 snowflakes is always cool. Saw a tank with about 10 of them all at the bottom with tangs in the middle. Coolest snowflake tank ever.
