i second the hand feeding, and as a community for the most part snowflakes do very well. they will become more active with size

ah cool, thanks for the info. i will definitely work on hand feeding. this guy looks to be around 9-10'' or so. heres a more random question, how do these guys do as far as mixing multiple eels in one tank?

foods have already been covered although i'd go as far as to add some squid and shrimp to the mix for variety as well....

as for mixing they will get along with each other just fine 98% of the time. that 2% you ask? well if there's not enough food for all they will fight over what's available and it's quite a battle to witness as they'll bite and what looks like constrict around each other. i wouldn't suggest enticing them to fight though
