I GOT EGGS! NEED HELP!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
well do you all think that they will pair up again as they seem to still alkways follow eachother

Chances are they will lay eggs somewhat frequently, and their is a very good chance they will always be infertile. in all likelyhood the pair ate the eggs due to being infertile, or possibly spooked. As long as they are well fed, and kept healthy the laying and subsiquent eating of the eggs shouldn't pose a problem for your fish. and you may end up with some fertile eggs at some point. personally, especially with hybrids and the potential for deformaties. I'de leave everyone alone and let the strong survive. offer lots of shelter for fry but I'de leave them in the pond to let nature weed out any weak. Otherwise what would you do with a batch of hybrids? unless they where truely uniquely colored most LFS's don't seem to want them. and most hobbyists frown on such fish.
