there's no problem growing out fish for people, I've done it before because they actually want the fish but need it a certain size before they can take it. The hard thing is assuming someone will take a 3'+ catfish or bass when your done with them. Most people would prefer to raise it themselves and will have no problem getting themselves a baby. Alex, it seems you try to pick up all these big fish to impress people here? What about trying to find some rare fish and raising those up...ones that can fit in your tanks. TSN, pbass, oscars...you see them everywhere, it would be cool to try and find, hard to find fish.

this thread is completely messed up. and what your doing is so random and sparratic (sp?) its just not right. you were just posting in the stingray section about how to feed the retic, actually you called it a retric, you just bought. you had no clue how to take care of thing based on your questions on that thread, yet on this one, your an expert? you need to get your stuff straight and just house what you can and do some research before you go out and buy all these "rare" fish
