I GOT ME SOME CONTACTS!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What a relief huh? I had the Lasik eye surgery about 2 years ago.. Best $2500 I ever spent...

ive been wearing contacts for about 8 years, and glasses for another 9 years before that, and since i just graduated from college, ive been looking into the Lasik too. I'm assuming you had yours done in Canada? I keep debating whether or not to stay in the US or go to Canada. Canada is way cheaper, but if something goes wrong, it's easier to sue in-country...

Stay in country then - I pay too much taxes!! No seriously though, the surgery has come a long way in the past few years.. It is soooo easy to do. I dont have 20/20 vision but its so nice to wake up, look at the alarm clock, and actually SEE the time! Like I said totally worth every penny!!

Oh yeah and I dont think you can sue.. they make you sign loads of papers saying you are aware of the risks etc...

I want to get it, but I'm still unsure about it. I'm just scared that 20 years from now we're going to start seeing a bunch of cases of people who are losing their vision from it. I'd rather see blurry and put up with the glasses than to not be able to see at all. Not saying that will happen but you never know. WHo knows, maybe 20 years from now they'll be doing eye transplants. I'd rock 2 different colors David Bowie style.:headbang2

Well they told me that when i am older my odds of having to get reading glasses are very likely... but who cares about reading glasses? And then I will be old and who cares what I look like then? Right? But yeah I'll get eye transplants! Muahahahhaahahahaha

well considering that was like 5 or 6 years ago and I have had any problems I'm going to just assume it popped out as soon as I blinked.

í use contacts since my 15 (31 now) glasses at home. my mother have done the laser10years ago but now have to use reading glasses.
here is not expensive but still afraid it takes 30m and cost about 1000 euros for 2 eyes.

Just make sure not to use that Bosch & Lomb’s contact solution. lol

you can still use bausch and lomb's solution....just get the right kind.......it was the moisture lock that they recalled........it was so you could keep your contacts in longer and sleep in them......i still use their other formulas of it though.....but yea contacts are a huge relief compared to glasses............
