nice fish, i caught 3 like that at a river called gila river here in arizona, this fish are beautiful and have such attitude, my eat just about anything that falls in the tank
different variants have different size/color pearls, has little to do with quality of fish, but OPs fish def looks like cyano due to the small separated pearling and pearling between the eyes, as it grows the pearls should get smaller, this looks just like the young cyanos i used to have
+1 i kept all kinds of carpintis and texas. It is impossible for a real texas to have such big pearl on its face at that size.
If someone disagrees, post a picture of texas cyano at that size and prove it.
