I got this new blue crayfish. but he wants to cut the plants.

I just bought this new blue crayfish today, he is eating and not shy like my other shrimps, problem is he is cutting my plants. any idea how to stop him from doing that?

do you have any of these blue crayfish? any advise? I also have some fishes in the tank, is he fast enough to be able to catch and eat any of my fishes? fishes are tetras gourami.

Hes going to be eating the tetras if he can put his claws on them if they come too close to him. And its a Crayfish. Every crayfish I have owned from mexican orange crayfish to the illegal rusty has been aggressive

Crayfish will eat and/or destroy most plants. As for the fish if he can catch them then yes he'll eat them.

You can’t keep plants with crayfish in my experience. They will always eat them.

Some U.S. states and probably other locales have banned certain species of crayfish because they are not native or are considered invasive species. You would have to check with your local authority or governmental body to see what fish or crayfish may be considered illegal to own.
