Indeed Dormitator sp..

(in spanish "dormir" is to sleep, which would be why they are called sleeper gobies).
There are several Dormitator sp. some can get very large. Largest I've seen in person was about 16".

id say its a purple spotted gudgeon from north australia. have one in my tank.

Ignore the one up top. These are a fresh water fish. can be hard to get them to take prepared foods and will try to put anything in their mouths. good jumpers, not very good swimmers. they swim in jaggared movements. this is an old pic of a male

Your fish is indeed a Mogurnda sp. but OP's is not. OP's fish is much rounder and it's coloration & pattern consistent with Dormitator sp.
