Flame wrasses are SALTWATER fish and they are expensive because the depth of collection from the wild is about 140ft. deep---very dangerous. I have alot because I am crazy and will go that deep to get them, but please don't think they are common--only at depth and in certain areas. Flame wrasses are also endemic to Hawaii so you won't find this particular species anywhere else in the world. The males are the bigger more colorful ones...thusly they are more desireable and therefore more expensive. I collected all of these myself.
