Our LFS don't know anything about catfish. I did buy a TSN 4 inch and it was mislabeled at UD cat. one of employee don't know what a RTC is >.> I got TSN in 70 gallon fish tank. This is my first time having a TSN. First ever catfish I brought from a LFS. I research about TSN. I heard they grow 2 inch per month am i right? So i need to get a 120 gallon aquarium.

They grow very fast. And you're gonna need at least a 1000 gallon tank/pond when it's full grown.

Its not about gallons it is about dimensions. I would say 8x4 MINIMUM. Larger is better. I would invest in what is called a "stock tank". You can get a 300 gallon one at tractor supply for only $200 it has great dimensions for growing out large fish and is cheap compared to a tank.

How much? And you will need bigger than a 120.

fully agree need way bigger than a 120 for life.

Um a 2000 gallon more like it not 1000.

minimum 10 foot by 8 is more idea, 12x12 pond size or larger same as an RTC would be better.

If you are going off of the "one inch per gallon rule" you've been mid informed you need at least a tank that is 4 foot wide and 8 foot long

Great idea so far. I'm thinking about building a 2000 gallon or 8x4. I didn't know tractor supply have 300 gallon tank. Thank you for telling that. There will be update on the TSN and plan for the aquarium

Honestly you slways see people on here with "big plans" for housing these fish but i have never seen one actually work. Do an 8x4.
