I can imagine the nightmare that tank would have caused when you were doing maintenance! I'm worried about going from barebottom to a somewhat aquascaped tank since my discus are now almost young adults and not so keen to eat 5x a day.

Hopefully you'll love your discus more with less work! Tank looks really great and so do most of your discus!

Thanks guys! You never know for sure if it looks OK until you get the MonsterFishKeepers "seal of approval". What did it look like before? It was an overgrown jungle of live plants, which made keeping the bottom clean a nightmare, especially with 10 other tanks to care for.

I like it this way, clean and simple.
I like planted tanks too, but for discus I think this is better for them, IMO.
