The thing is im having to do a take for a SP. of fish, 3 tanks = 3ish sorts of fish,
TANK1 RTs,
TANK2 Jags
TANK3 Oscars and there tank mates...... "TANK MATES!!!"

my RTs even at there small size will fight and beet the crap out of the Oscars, the Jags beet the hell out of any fish i put in with them, I just want a tank that has more that 2 fish in it...............................

I'll still keep "A" Cichlid tank just not Cichlids that are this much agro, im going to go away from pairs and BIG aggressive jobbys.

the Oscars will be staying, but with the Oscars i can have other fish in there, things like catfish and barbs................................................

I did have barbs in with the Jags but they was always looking tatty and beet-up, with the Oscars i can have other fish in there and keep them looking nice.

this was a hard thing to do as i have bred the Jags and grew them on to what they are to day, BUT, this move has been in the pipe-line for a while...

The 120G will be for the Oscars and what ever goes well with them.
the 50G will be a com tank, somethink like Angels, Red Rainbows or some sort of bigger Tetra and ether a few Corys or Loaches
ok well the good thing is your keeping your oscars.

umm angelfish are cichlids hun.......

I think angelfish would be a nice low aggression tank. They still are cichlids so they may get a bit tempermental at times. I personally think black angels are gorgeous.

i didnt say angelfish wernt cichlids:confused: IMO there boring and wimps(as in water quality).

but i know bolty likes them and has done for a while. i'd say go for geo's, non aggressive pikes and some nice barbs.
i think you just have badass fish i have the same festae, jags in community tank with GT, JDpair and cons.

For the record, cichlid is not always synonymous with aggression.

hay mate...
with the Jags being so aggressive and not having any fish in there tank :irked:
things was geting boring :screwy: I was going to keep the Oscar and some other "NOT SO AGGRESSIVE" Cichlids........ in the 50G I was going to do a Angel fish/Clown Loach tank........ I have now sold the 50G and in with the oscar I have put 1x Black Belt and 1x Red Hread Cichlid......... at the mo the Black Belt is being good ;)
