I had to bring her home!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
:iagree:

Ok I just got home from work and she is still doing fine. She is moving slowly around the tank and looks like she has eaten a few shrimp.

I may be new to rays but I can assure you that she is a motoro, check the gallery I uploaded pics. I she has alot more color now hten in those pics as well. Oh yeah the file name is $37 motoro.

As for tank size I will upgrade to a 75 when she is as long as the tank is wide and when she out grows that I plan on having my own place in a year or so so its pond time!

Nice pics, I can see those bite marks though, good pick up for the price!

I cant believe they put her in with the frogs and oscars and jack dempseys and huge royal plecos! I dont care if the wounds do not grow back as long as she remains healthy.

I just chopped up some small pieces of earthworms and she is eating them as I type. How long should it take for her to fatten up?

There was a pretty noteworthy Transhipper who was selling Motoros at a very discounted price last week. One of our LFS almost ordered one, but they decided otherwise because the price was strangely low and the last 2 they ordered from them at that price were DOA.

I could definately see that pricing if it was from this transhipper.. Your ray was probably commercial bred in Asia, which brings down the price even more.

Well the actual price was $70, but I got it half off because of the bite wounds, and I do not know if it makes a difference but I am far far away from washington. Also when I asked where she came from the guy said he thought Peru but who knows.

Female. She is eating chopped earth worms pretty good now but is still really skinny. As long as she keeps eating how long should it take her to fill out?

Some more photos in the gallery. She is starting to color up a bit and she has alot more spots then I expected.

How do I move my photos from the gallery to the thread?

Looks good....feed her as long as she is hungry
Just keep up on the water changes!

As far as the pictures....when u reply to the thread, down below there is "manage attachments......find the pics saved on your computer and upload them...make sure they are small enough to fit in the window this time
