No offense taken here, or hurt feelings. Its not the words that were spoken its the principal of the matter, not everyone has the luxuries others can afford, and when things are said from those people that are privileged to under underprivileged people that may have no control over there situation and to generalize a group of people and use the word hate I just don't see as fair. Thats all.

^ i agree. not offended bc i personally dont really care about princesses opinion.. id probably be more offended if i had a lot of money though. comments like that are why a lot of underprivilaged people dislike rich kids.. comments like that are also probably where the "snotty rich kid" stereotype came from... and may be part of the reason people dont like paying taxes or following societies rules. the "upper-class" people with the power look down on those without a lot of money(stereotypically) and dont realize that they(like rich kids are born into their situations) were born into a crappy situation. when people look down on you from the get-go and your odds are bad to make it, it's a lot easier to rebel than follow the rules and get out against the odds.

you know what makes me sad .......almost everyone in England calls the chavs,as i've said they are proud they are chavs. I have my reasoning for things and some i shouldn't have said but thats my downfall.....maybe the worst downfall to have on a forum.
i in no way singled out a person or called anyone. yet i'm the one whos getting picked out as being a snobby rich kid but thats just another sterotype i have to let go of... and if you don't care what i think thats fine.
the whole reason i made this thread was because of something that happend that day to me by a what i call a "chav".
look see because we live in different country its VERY different. nobody here *has* to be poor! just a stupid excuse. i work my ass off and pay LOADS of tax....my family alone pay £24,000 in tax a year! so the people who don't work can have a nice easy life. thats how i see it.

We have the same problems in American with illegal immigrants. Do you think I like paying taxes so they can abuse the system...no! I hate it just as much as you do, but I keep it to myself and send letters and voice my opinion in the polls for elections on the politicians who "say" they are going to do something about it. But like Neervana said it is the wrong thing to say in public. Princess we all love you and your antics and no one is trying to make you feel bad or trying to single you out. I went off because someone said everyone is racist not on you.
