As a parent, I honestly can say some of you need to have kids before making a call on this, and even then have more then one because not all kids are alike.
1. This is a case of the kid goes limp to get what they want. Most parents know this ploy and honestly I have taken my kids by the arm and dragged them. Not to the extrent that the lady in the video did, but that kid obviously was fine. Child leashes go around the shoulders and chest. My kids do worse to themselves by ruff housing then what that kid got.
2. For those of you who think she should have spanked her child right there, thats the wrong answer. REASON: Because many people have lost touch with reality and can't tell the difference between a beating and a spanking. I have 1 child that doesen't need to be dissaplend hardly at all, and two that time outs and spankings only seem to have 10min effects on them.
I myself have used child leashes, but I have two 5yr olds and a 6yr old. I also live in Vegas which is not a child friendly town. So I am sorry for those of you who think I am a bad parent for having put mine on them when they choose not to listen and run around. I can live with that when my kids make it to adult hood. But may I add I have never drug them by their leases(Which are a monkey on the back style leash).
In short, she was in the wrong. She should have taken the kid to the car and dissaplened him/her(couldn't tell by the video) accordingly.
