I shipped out I think 4 maybe 5 boxes that day.One of them, the driver was walking up to the house with the box side ways,as water was running out of the box and down his leg.krichardson;4899381; said:
He then dropped it on the ground and knocked on the door. I worked it out with the customer who wound up driving to my house to show me the box and pick up some others.
We both seen that the box was re-taped,a big hole was pierced through the side of the box and it was obviously dropped about once every 4 seconds etc.It was probably all done by the driver who dropped the box on the way to the door.
Do you think Fed Ex would pay me for my losses or the customers? I know they wont,so I hooked him up with a duplicate order and sent him happily away.
The week before that they delivered the package to the wrong street.Customer went for a walk and found it. Fed Ex won't give me a nickel~they just take all of mine and my customers nickels.
I'm now out the money and the fish but...the customer is still happy and Fed Ex still doesn't give a hoot.
and to be fair to UPS~
they handed me a box wrapped in plastic garbage bags and tape with a shipment I had from Florida also one time, and I have a few other stories for them as well.Usps ~ normally I would use them to ship supplies or anything that doesn't "breathe", so to speak, since it takes them a week to deliver a package 2 doors down.
