I think it's worse when someone working in a fish store doesn't even know what fish they're selling. That's how people with 20 gallon tanks wind up with baby Oscars and don't understand why the fish turns so huge and their guppies and other community fish vanished on them. My local Petsmart, the 1 girl working in the fish department was getting schooled on diseases by the dog groomer
