I got his homeboy too just so he wouldn't get lonely when he had recovered

Welcome to the real world.
You have now created a catalyst for a huge tank. You may then realise that these fish cannot be sustained in a 300G and you may wind up selling them to some blokes 125G and the process starts over again. Funny that.

They're only 3in but not for long, and all I need is my heaters with are coming in next week and they'll be good to go.

Grown in a 125 gal-(Had a problem getting him out of their though)
Transferred to my 500 gal just acouple months ago-
This is what you can look forward to their guy-
my beast sittin in at the 24 inch mark...
