Damn, I'm glad I don't live in the city.
I pay a little over $1000 / month for a 2700 square foot house 4 bed 2 bath on 5 acres.

Even if you meant $3500 / month that's still ungodly expensive unless you're making 250k / year.

I DONT KNOW WHERE IN BKLYN THAT PIC WAS TAKEN,BUT I WAS BORN AND RAISE IN BKLNY ,NEVER SEEN A BD RM THAT SMALL,IF I WAS YOU I WOULD REALLY SHOP AROUND ,I HAVE HAD CLOSETS BIGGER THAN THAT,AND AS FAR AS 3500$ A WEEK YOUR TALKING MANHATAN PRICES , AVERAGE MIDDLE INCOME HOUSING 2 BEDRM 1400$ -1600$ A MONTH NOT WEEK
I do not live there, just bunch of apartments that real estate is showing me. The picture with the green carpet is Bay Ridge, I do not remember the second one.

Yah...Ditto. I dunno what's worse, living by rayman45 or the stench of the garbage dumps, haha....j/k :).

Damn, that's small. Expensive too, I bet.

My sis is over there on a two year working holiday. Says her rent is $3500 a week for a one bedroom apartment!

Still, she says it's a happening city.

Opps...correction. Meant a month. She said its an apartment overlooking Central Park in Manhatten.

Well you do live in Minnesota. Not as many people are clawing their way to live there. lol

There's plenty of people here in San Diego that feel your pain though Vitality.

I have a 886 square foot town house that i bought for $315,000.
Except my bedrooms are still way bigger than that.
And i have a 2 car garage, so i can't complain.

I would keep looking around for sure.

And that's a good thing. You couldn't pay me enough to live in the city. I have a nice view overlooking a lake from my deck. It's nice and peaceful and I can see all the stars at night.
If I really need something from the cities, it's a short drive to Minneapolis/St. Paul. ;)
