i could care less about the money...the point is i did not want to drive 25 min across town to return them which is why my mom got the in the first place. and i completely understand feeders get diseases, but that still doesnt make it ok to sell dead fish to an older lady who doesnt know anythin about fish(my mom). I also tried to talk to the manager and it turned out the lady was the manager on duty and when i asked to talk to the store manager she would not let me.

exercise your right as a customer.. Petco should never, never, NEVER sell a fish that gona kill ur fish.. Its like selling bread with molds to a human being.. Luk for the higher mananger, dnt let that lady manager do this to other people.. They shud be responsible enough.

wow thats why I don't buy feeders from them.

Gload we dont have petco or petsmart over here just Pets at home :(

MY LOCAL PETS AT HOME IS GOOD...

I think people just think that since a fish has a disease its a bad shop..Im sure like everybidy had had an ill fish...And they have loads of tanks! And too many fish in each one so it is hard to see!

Wait a minute...you bought 6 feeders, you got 7, one was dead = the 6 you paid for. What's the problem? And feeders are often diseased, it's how they're treated and why they're cheap...that's why everybody says to get your fish off feeders.

I agree the chains generally suck, but this isn't really an example of that suckage.

Contact the corporate offices. Go on the petco website and log a complaint. Link this thread and let them see how it affects their business.

Heres a solution..BUY REGULAR FISH THAT PEOPLE WILL BUY FOR REAL TANKS.

I had a complaint with petco and email the corp. office with no results at all, if you really want to get action ,walk in with a camera they get real pissy then..they will most likely tell you to leave, so do so, then come back with someone from the humane society and file a formal complaint.

The fact ia that he still paid money to somebody for a service and a product. And what he got was lousy service and a lousy product. Eiter way you look at it, it shouldn't happen. If you shop there or if you feel privelaged to be able to by from somewhere else. Like an above poster said you don't sell moldy bread to humans. Yeah fish may be animals but they are still living things. You dont do that and then you don't act like it never happen. And you don't just accept mess like that either.

I'd raze hell if that crap happened to me. You better believe im gonna get my money back.

At the very least nobody wants that to happen to them and its real easy to point the finger and condemn. But when it happens to you... then you'll be just as mad.

I'd go get money back and a formal apology.
