my dad puts seed out for the birds he likes, the furry bastards take his seed. He traps them and releases them around 10 miles away, hes never killed any but he lets the dogs put a good scare in em before he takes them away.

i love squirrels........ they are never a problem here in the country... wide open spaces etc..i am lucky if i see one... i don't know how anyone can hurt an animal as cute as a squirrel...

Lol, I just don't like them as much as I used to.
I used to love them as a kid, then I got bit. They would get into my house. Steal expensive pet food, and they are just darn too common here. There's maybe 45 in my neighborhood, which isn't very big at all. Plus they've even attacked my beloved duck. If only there wern't so many.

I don't know if I had rabies or not as it was a while ago.
They are mostly a nuisance. Invading my house, stealing expensive pet food.

I really dont have a major issue with the squirrels in my area,none that would make me act up like Bill Murray in Caddyshack but if they are invading your home and pilfering your pet food then I guess they have to be dealt with.

We feed squirrels year round along with all the birds. They are a treat to watch eating small raw ears of corn on the cob, sunflower seeds or breaking open pecans. When they get thirsty the birdbath is only short distance away.
