I have 8 Tiger rays

Hello... I just got a call from my person in charge of the stingrays. A few of you had asked about black rays, pearls, etc.

Now, he tells me that the largest one of the eight may actually be a hybrid, he's thinking perhaps between a tiger and a pearl?

Here's a new picture I just got. What do you think? Opinions?

no.. I dont think pearl/tiger... Just a great looking tiger!!!!

Hi John,

it is impossible that this could be Tiger/Pearl Hybrid, because black rays and pearl are from Brazil. As I know P.leopoldi from Rio Xingu, P.henlei from Tocantins/Araguaia, P14 from Rio Itaituba and Pearl I think also.

But that is a really nice tigerray !

I think its a Tiger only because of the size of the gill.
