So...My dad was just watching the tank and he (luckily) had the camera...And he saw this MYSTERY CATFISH...I dont know what it is...HELP ME ID IT! Sorry for the bad pics..I personally have only seen this fish once in my tank....help! lol

Sorry man i don't know what it is but it looks cool.
How did it get in your tank, i have discovered 1 or 2 catfish in my tank but i rememberd putting them in i just never saw them.

I did add 2 wild synodontis ages ago...But they dont look like that..

I actually think there are two of them. They love lying motionless in the elodea..

Really hard to tell, but it looks like some kind of plec to me.

if you added 2 wild synos a while ago its possible that pattern changed as they grew.
S. eupterus has reticulated pattern all over its body when very young but as it grows the patter changes to gray with small dark spots.

shake up the plants and persuade them to come out. then get better pics so we can properly ID them

Ive tried it...one came out but my hands were wet and I couldnt get the camera :(
