Feel free to start a thread and ask for submissions. I am more than willing to help somebody do this. We could even AIM about it if you want but its pretty self explanatory.

Hey mods, I was wondering if we can get a POTM for the stingray forums. I have seen the pics in the POTM forums, and I must say they are very very nice. Its almost like there is no way us stingray keepers can compete with a gold nugget playing in the bubbles. Just a suggestion, I am pretty sure there are many in here that will agree.

I've got no problem with someone wanting a POTM for a certain subforum.

But to think that a Cutesy Cell Phone photo of some rays has any chance against a photo that someone put effort into capturing the moment in focus, with good lighting, and detail... is well, Silly. But wait, you're saying that a leopoldi playing in some bubbles still couldn't compete?

It was a shot in the dark. As an artist of many types of media, my opinion is that anyone can pick up a NikonD90 and snap a great photo of a fish (or anything else for that matter).

My picture is unique and was not intended to be of great quality. It was just a very unique photo which I am very happy with. I could care less about it winning. I just wanted people to see the awesome picture of my babies! :D

Fair enough. It's a great capture, just didn't fit my criteria for my vote I suppse.

I think it might possible to remove some of the grain in an
editor.
