i have an empty 55gal tank and was wondering what would be a good fish to put in as a breeding pair... i currently breed bettas and woud like to breed some type of larger fish... i want nice relatively easy fish to breed that would work in a 55gal tank...im open to suggetions...

Convicts, kribensis, mollies, bristlenose plecos, discus or possibly angelfish will all be good choices depending on what level you are on.

is there any thing bigger then those...discus to sensitive already know lots of angel breeders(plus not really into)...dont like kribensis mollies or bristle nose...wouldnt mind vampire plecos ...but any more suggestions...

i think a jack's would be ok! they are not to hard to breed! or you could have a female jack and a male con then they'd breed but u might not be a supporter of hybrids!

the babies can look pretty cool!

convicts are sweet too! you can fit two pairs in a 55! they have wars on the middle line of their territories!

but he said he wants big fish! convicts arent big! you could breed one pair of convicts and put a jack in the tank too!
