i like aquaon heater, they're solid, fluval made heater is more MEH, will never buy fluval brand again, atleast for their heater

jager. i got one thats is 5 years old and works perfectly. built tough too. had a visi therm deluxe and it was a nice, but no where near the quality of the jager. latter had better glass and the deluxe had a metal ringing sound inside of it, like something was loose....

Not to butt in on your thread, but was wondering, for the bigger tanks some of these ppl have = Do you use more than one heater in your tank?

I think it's usually recommended to have two, just in case one fails.

That can only protect you from failure of the heater itself. It the power goes out, Whamp! Both heater goes down

True true, but then you'd have more problems than just the heater, including no aeration or filtration!

I'm a big titanium heater fan these days. My Rena Smart-heater also works well.
