I mixed the water in the tank (maybe thats wrong but its always worked on the initial fill) as usual but did not have much circulation and I had a white film cake my side panels. This would not come clear. I then emptied the tank and put a razor to it. Two days ago I refilled with numerous powerheads running on it and the water was clear along with 99% of the glass with the exception of a couple spots I didnt hit. The water got more clear over the next day. Then, I woke up this morning to hazy glass again. Whats going on? I really feel sad about this. I am tempted to tear the tank down and not bother.

Sounds like precipitate from the salt sticking to the glass. I would dig the substrate out (if there is any), and fill the tank back up with vinigar and tap and let it circulate for a while.

Then, mix your salt in big ole trash can (clean trash can, haha).

I read that warm water and oxyclean is aquarium safe as well and it says on the bottle. I could drain tank and fill with warm water and something else in my tub my water is clear and salt is expensive so I would like to think I can save the water.

I used a razor and it was gone. Now its back. I don't understand. How will this not happen again?

I have mixed my SW in tank with a couple setups and never had an issue...remember that you have to do it with the tank bare though, this sounds really strange.

Yes, this tank is bare. I don't understand at all.

here's a pic of the glass. this does not come off by finger and has already been clear and has progressed to this over the last couple of days. Water in the tank is clear.
