I have snails :(

Is there a type of jelly substance around the eggs? or are you seeing tiny moving snails? There is one other thing that resembles your description and it is something called freshwater limpets. They are a type of mollusk, and they are harmless.

Refer to my suggestions on post #2 about their removal. But really, they won't harm your tank or fish.

They are definitely moving.

Freshwater limpets look spot on. I don't want them in the tank.

I think the trap method, or assassin snails is your best bet?

Assassin snails wouldn't be able to handle three job imo.
How tiny is tiny? If they're 1/2"+, then fish that will eat them are your best bet.
Do not resort to using copper and chemical means of eliminating them.

I agree 100% with pp on this one

Anything I put in here would be eaten by my Oscars, so assassin snails are out.

Tiny = head of a pin tiny.

My Pleco might be eating them... its poo'n a lot more than usual and the population of Limpets or Snails or w/e they are seems to be shrinking.

That is a horrible suggestion. Did you even consider his tank size? Plus clown loaches would probably do alot of uprooting on his plants.

nope i totally did not look at tank size or stock list. stock list - yes that was a dumb suggestion but i still don't understand why that wouldn't work based on tank size? i've seen lots of videos with loaches in all sizes of tanks.

damn noob!! i should learn to keep my mouth shut unless i know what i'm talking about.... sorry.

No the real point is not using fish to do the owners job. I mean adding a fish would maybe lead to other problems. It would be easier to not go that route. I agree I have seen clown loaches in lots of different set ups too, even in predator tanks. But another thing people forget or don't realize is clown loaches grow quite large. But it does take a while since they grow slow.
