haha the splodge in the centre?

yep pic taken with my samsung omnia phone and as the tank is 32'' deep it was around 2' from the front as this is where they all seem to be.

well done mate , as i said to nelly keep eye out for more over comming weeks or so , they often release in batches . anything upto around 300 .

did you manage to remove the spare fish ? there is a real good chance the pair will finnish them off if not , they will get very protective now

cheers col

Thanks col i followed your advise throughout.

nope i still have them in the tank, both came out to eat today and no other damage than a few nips to fins still.
i just have no where to put them and no takers either.
£10 each too which is a bargain.

wow at £10 each they should fly out , there at breeding age . you simply do not find breeding age pulchra in shops and when you do they are still pretty expensive. there is many young around but most bought in a shop would take 1.5 years to get to the size of yours.

have you tried seeing if tropical team would take them in considering the size , if not i would of though mark down at paddock would give at least £10 each as he would be able to retail them at £25 easy.

good luck with the fry mate , to be honest the parents probably wont let the other get near the fry so theres a good chance they will still be ok.

cheers col
