Eyes popping out some and a white glaze over parts of their bodys and after a while it just wouldn't go away. I did weekly water changes any only fed them 1 time a day. we do have Iron in our water but I used a water treatment every time I did a water change. I just don't think that the fish are as healthy overall anymore. When I was a kid if they got something wrong with them and they rarely did you could cure it almost right away so who knows?

I highly recommend that you buy a copy of Handbook of Fish diseases by Dieter Undergasser.
http://www.betterworldbooks.com/Handbook-of-Fish-Diseases-id-0866227032.aspx

Your fish seem to have several problems. Pop eye is usually caused by an internal gram negative bacterial infection of the kidneys (treat with Erythromycin). The white patches is camalaris disease, which is also a gram negative bacterial infection (treat with Sulfa-4 or Triple Sulfa (Tri-Sulfa). If the fish's eyes have fallen out, that is an indication of fish tuberculosis. In that case, it is best to euthanize the fish and bleach the tank. An alternative is a thirty day treatment of Kanamycin and vitamin B-6.

U could tear it all done and wash everything with bleech or dish soap I recommend dish soap not as bad as bleech

bleech is 20 times easier to get rid of the dish soap bleech is just chlorine. overdose dechlor and youd be fine. if you use dish soap with anti mildew and the such its even more dangerous

Alot of African cichlids. And a few Chocolates. A Large Trout male, Large Frontosa and about 16 various other ones. We have iron in our water but I always put water treatment in every water change I do so that may or may not have had something to do with it. I did a big water change and then I added alot of White Vinegar and some Bleech. after a few weeks I added some charcoal to my filters to get rid of it. Currently it's going through a Bacterial bloom and in a few more weeks I'll be able to re stock it. I've got 3 Baby Fusco's and 2 Baby Trout cichlids in a 75 gallon that I've had for several months now. To all of the rest of you guys and to you too Liz I thank you for your concerns.

That's all wrong. :headshake Its wrong on such a fundamental level that I worry that your other methods may be off too. Don't be afraid to ask questions or to admit that there is something that you don't know. That's what learning is all about.
