Davo - to be honest yeah. In some ways it's a nice country, some beautiful untouched rural areas and rivers and beaches, but most of it sucks. Ugly, smelly towns, very rude and unwelcoming people etc.
And you can't get anything, there's simply no variety here. If you eat it, it's spanish food, that's it. No pizzas, no pasta, no chinese (well 1 or 2 horrible ones within a 3 hour radius) no vietnamese, no korean, no japanese, no french, no nothing. Just horrible, greasy spanish food.
Snack food also doesn't exist here, you can't buy a prepacked sarnie or even a tub of houmous anywhere, or cheddar, or coleslaw, or decent sliced bread. The baguettes are ok though. Oh and you can't buy tropical fish or big tanks either
Another good thing about it is the lack of chav culture and drunk idiots. Spanish don't drink much, and although there are MANY chavs with tracksuits and mullets, they are a different breed to english chavs. They are not aggressive or lairy. They just drive around in their incredibly boyed up little hatchbacks, they don't cause trouble. So it's quite a peaceful place, but just ugly, boring, with no variety and not much entertainment to be had.
It's made me appreciate england more, the one thing that's bad about england is the ever-increasing number of louts and chavs and junkies.
Del - not sure yet, I'm discussing it with my girl. Possibly holland or belgium, but more likely France or back to England
