I introduced my dad to monster tanks

i know how you feel-i have only 3 tanks set up right now (180, 90 and 47 gal. grow out) and im looking at my 180 thinking "i really need something bigger" or "i need another 180 and i know EXACTLY where im gonna put it". its an addiction!!

btw my parents now have a small SW and a 30 gal freshwater--i think i rubbed off on them.

You guys have great parents. My biggest tank is a 35g i probably have the smallest tank on this site.

When people I talk to around here says they know someone with a "huge" tank, it usually ends up being a 50g-60g. They get really shocked when I tell them that I have a 75g

lol, i get the same thing. guys will come into the store and get a fish and when i tell them it's going to get pretty big they usually say oh, i've got a huge tank for it and it turns out they've got a 55g and are amazed i've got a 180g, especially when i tell them i plan to have 3 comet goldfish and a bunch of danios in it.

Thats awesome im actually using my dad to talk my mom into lettine me set up some 20gals and another 180 or a 210.
