Looks like you'll have fun sorting through that stuff. All those tanks! So lucky! You are going to keep at least a couple, right?

CHOMPERS;557923; said:A few weeks ago someone was selling a fish wholesale business that was never started. They wanted forty grand for it. I just saved $39439.83If the math is too hard, I paid $560.07 for it all. There are over a hundred tanks.
The weird thing is I just bought eight breeder tanks that I am setting up.
Dude. You and I need to talk.fishmaven;557821; said:You're a glutton for punishment <grin>. I hope you make some money from it. When i try to sell used equipment I get the guys that want it for free or complain because it isn't as pretty as they'd like.
Use some phosphoric acid and clean the tanks up well. Write down the model of each of the equipment pieces and get retail prices for them new. Write down where to get the repair parts and put it on a card attached to each item. That way, when someone asks, you can say, "it's all on the card attached to the item. I can't remember each piece." Don't give away buckets of parts until almost all of the items are gone. Some one's going to come back to get the incidental pieces missing for the operation of whatever they bought. They'll expect you to have it. Get rid of EVERYTHING and use some of the money to buy NEW stuff for yourself.
Good luck. It won't be easy money. BTW, what farm??
