I just bought a fish farm

Holy crap! How much did you pay for all that? If I had all those tanks, I think breeding would be manditory! To much fun to be had stocking all those.

A few weeks ago someone was selling a fish wholesale business that was never started. They wanted forty grand for it. I just saved $39439.83 If the math is too hard, I paid $560.07 for it all. There are over a hundred tanks.

The weird thing is I just bought eight breeder tanks that I am setting up.

You're a glutton for punishment <grin>. I hope you make some money from it. When i try to sell used equipment I get the guys that want it for free or complain because it isn't as pretty as they'd like.

Use some phosphoric acid and clean the tanks up well. Write down the model of each of the equipment pieces and get retail prices for them new. Write down where to get the repair parts and put it on a card attached to each item. That way, when someone asks, you can say, "it's all on the card attached to the item. I can't remember each piece." Don't give away buckets of parts until almost all of the items are gone. Some one's going to come back to get the incidental pieces missing for the operation of whatever they bought. They'll expect you to have it. Get rid of EVERYTHING and use some of the money to buy NEW stuff for yourself.

Thanks for the tips. I can always use advice in getting organized. I don't know which fish farm it came from but if I find out I will let you know.

Give her a set of breeder tanks for Christmas. Or tell her you are working out a deal for 100 tanks and the living room will be a great place. When she says "Oh hell no!", then that is when the negotiations begin. You let her talk you down to what you want, and she won't feel like she has to call a divorce lawyer

I didn't change the clocks so it is 5:30am for me. I am carving a pumpkin to look like that little bastard clown fish so I had to watch the movie.
