Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, I'm currently saving for a down payment on my first house, and was wondering how much you put down?

To find something that decent out here, it'd be at least 400,000.
It's terrible!! A million dollar house out here (lower mainland) is like a regular home, and million dollar home in Ottawa.. is well, a million dollar home.

1866sf 4br 2bath for 126k. let me tell you thats CHEAP for the seattle area.
i know the feeling. bought my first last feb. the $8G's was awesome. 126K is insane. mine was approx 1800 sf, 3 bed, 2 bath on a half acre lot for 192k. that's good for socal this time last year. 3% down, fha loan at 5%, 30 yr fixed with property tax tied to monthly mortgage. i pay 1340 a month. i'm still happy about the deal i got considering how amazingly high homes were just a couple of years ago. the house i got was easily $400k a couple of years ago
Omg yeah that is VERY cheap. How did you do that? I live in kirkland and small 2br 2bath houses are going for like 300,000 !?!?!
