That is very very sweet, I would love to see it up and running! Do you have plans for the new tank yet or are you still working on the set up first?

Be sure to get pix when it is up and running.

What are you going to use to filter it?? I think you should go hardcore and build your own w/d.

Actually I have some leftovers from my pond at the old house.
I buildt a filter then, and I think of use the stuff I have and do this:

Tegning dam-filter.jpg

Thats two plastic-barrels of 66 gallons each.
The plan is to fill the first with blue (japanese) filtermatting, and the second with K1 bioballs.

I have a couple of pumps, one is a jaccuzzi-pump that pumps 3170 gallons pr. hour. Is that to powerful to use?
I also have a smaller one that pumps 898 gallona pr hour..

Thanks for the comments! I'll take pictures on the way..
I'm picking it up next weekend so it's gonna take some weeks to finish it.

I payed 380 dollars for it, it costed the guy that buildt it four times that - so i think it was a good price :)
(But I was recently divorced, so i could'nt afford more anyway..)
