yup, they certainly are making some major numbers but, this has come up before. What happens when you take the technology from a import (turbo, nitrous, all those goodies) and put them on a V-8?.

now that is really true power for a 4cyclinder!

it would cost a lot(to me anyway) but you could build 1 for yourself and 8 of your friends for that price and have money left over to higher a local drag strip for the day....

There is no way it would cost anywhere near that much, maybe a 10th of that if the shop is taking advantage of you.

The reason it can have a 900hp in a evo is that the turbo is a T88 that is custom maded. T88 turbo is form a sklyline. A t88 in a evo has a crap load of turbo lag, So what is the point of having somthing like that?

and yes it would cost you close to a million dollars it is not just just the engine it is for the intire car! carbon fiber everything inculded. I read articals before guys who are rich enough to do crap like that!

I remember that artical, he had like chrome plated piston lifters and twin over head dipsticks... that stuff costs a fortune. Most of the power was made from the flowed glovebox and cross drill/slotted fuel lines though...

I hope you really don't think a T88 is custom made. They are made by Greddy. I don't catch on to internet sarcasm
