i just got a 55G tank what do i get

Im looking for some fish or one fish i don't want a big fish looking for small i know this is monster fish keepers but yea so i have two filters on the tank some cheap-o 85gallons and hour one and a Marineland Emperor Bio-Wheel 400 Power Filter so i think filtering shouldn't be a prob

i was thinking a beta but i was told it would die b/c its to much space dont they live in rivers

its got rocks in it and a small peace of drift wood and a glass rock i have a huge peace i can put in to all from the fish store in Seattle i love those guys even tho there prices are a little high

what do you guys think i should get i dont want a lot of fish just a few small is good i would love a pleco but after my L-200 die i just cant seem to get one

oh yea what kinda of media should i put in the filter? just carbon? it has two build ur own so yea

Are you looking for cichlids or tropicals?

not cichlids or tropical well maybe would depend im really just looking for like 1 fish for the tank my house stays cold but i do have a heater that will heat the tank to 90 easily dont like useing it then the rest of the house it hot to lol

And you say "little" how small do you mean? Were you wanting just one single fish for your 55 or would you prefer a small school of fish? (Ones that actually school together)

I say you get...a bigger tank and use thee 55 for a sump. j/k If you're only wanting one fish you could always go with a piranha. That's just a personal favorite for me.
