i just got a barramundi, what now?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They adapt pretty well to saltwater...At work we got some in as "Sea Bass/perch" so I released them in to the marine section. Only several weeks later while visiting our supplier did I realize they were being kept in freshwater. Tough fish, didn't seem to mind the transfer at all.

mine was in brakish at the store, it took him abou thirty seconds to star hunting after he was out of the bag, he was actually trying to eat guppies that were swimming by the bag:eek::screwy:

I have a great tip for you. Nevermind the keeping for life. Grow it out for a couple of months and sell it to someone else for a ridiculous profit. There are a gaggle of "I need the biggest fish" people on here. I'm sure you could get a lil chunk of change to buy yourself a something nice in a short while. Fatten him up, keep him in top shape. Buy low/sell high!

Sorry thought you might be looking for something specific... Maybe you were just looking for more opinions? It's cool. :)

If you ever have any questions you can pm me, or any other person you think might know and I'm sure we'll help you out. :)
