Quite the commedian she has become with quick witt and a sharp mind. Even though, I must admit the hole thing proved to be extremely hillarious. I laughed till my sides ached.
Here's what I had told my son when he asked me a question on freshwater fishing, at the bright inquisitive age of 10 years old.
"In order to know the answer to a question asked by a young child, a parent has to assess the situation before an honest answer or a plausible solution can be given. Regardless of how basic or complicated it may be."
So, If your daughter was looking at her fish tank, making observations of her tank inhabitants and you're looking at a table full of breakfast food and a computer screen, I doubt without an honest observation from Dad, a basic and honest answer or arriving at a plausible solution, could be given.
Most all us adults get "pwned" by our kids throughout our lifetime, once in a while. I'm good with it, as long as they don't take advantage of the situations too often. It looks bad on them when they come up and ask their parents for favors or wanting something really bad, like a new ipod or another Makobe for their tank.
But it's all down hill after the prom dress. Hope you're ready, Dad.
